Replacing your tallinja Card - Malta Public Transport

Lost cards, expired cards, malfunction cards

If you damage or lose your tallinja card, you may order a replacement card by visiting one of our Sales and Information Offices and paying the administrative fee of €10.00 and a new card will be issued there and then. Any credit available on the lost or damaged tallinja card shall be transferred to your new tallinja card. It is important that you report such instances immediately to reduce the risk of the lost card being used by someone else. If the card is expired, due to the Cardholder no longer being eligible to a card type, Cardholder may order a replacement card at any one of our Sales and Information Offices at a charge of €5.00 Administrative Fee.

Non-personalised Cards are not replaceable and Customers will not be refunded for lost non personalised Cards.
