Vouchers can be used to top up your personalised tallinja card using your mobile phone or any telephone. Otherwise, you can top up very easily online using your credit or debit card by clicking here.
There are three different types of vouchers, €5, €10 and €20. Vouchers may be purchased from our Sales and Information Offices , MaltaPost post offices, and leading outlets across Malta and Gozo. A list of these outlets can be found here.
Once you buy your voucher, you must scratch the marked area on the reverse side of the voucher to reveal a code. This code must then be used to topup the credit on your tallinja card. When topping up online, you will be prompted to enter this code into the appropriate field, and also your customer number too. Please make sure the numbers you enter are correct.
You may also use this code to topup over your mobile phone. Call 2099 1000 and follow the instructions. You will first be asked for your customer number, so have your tallinja card ready. You will then be asked for the voucher number, which is the number you have just revealed on the card.
After using any of the above methods, you are ready to use the credit on your tallinja card.
